Bandera Public Library Happenings

Howdy to all!

The Bandera Kronkosky Public Library is gearing up for its 2nd annual Winter Reading Program, which begins Monday, December 1.

To participate, pick up a book review form, read a book, and write a short review. Participants can then receive a Christmas stocking filled with library treats.

Holiday-themed storytimes will take place every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. throughout December.

On Thursday, December 5, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes from Bandera High School will present a special children’s program at 2 p.m.

The library will host an all-day, come-and-go Christmas craft for all ages on Wednesday, December 11, and a special Christmas storytime with refreshments the same day.

The Friends Book Fair, the last of 2025, will be held Saturday, December 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stop by to find a gift for that special someone.

Finally, the library extends thanks to the Bandera Music Hall of Fame members for visiting on Sunday to dedicate the BMHOF jukebox.

Until next time, happy reading!

Paul Phelan is the Executive Director of the Bandera Public Library.
