Last Wednesday, November 12, 2025, I was contacted by a fellow patriot out of Kerr County. She informed me of “an anti-fascist” protest being held on our dear Bandera County Courthouse lawn on Saturday, Nov 15. This protest was being publicized by the Kendall County Democrats, and being modeled by a similar recent protest in Oregon. They were asking protesters to wear black and white with matching signs, masks optional, lol.
As a co-founding member of the Bandera County Trump Train, along with Tiffany Shirey, we decided we needed to get the trucks and flags ready! Over the last year and a half, we have worked very closely with Kerr County Trump Train, and became “One” you could say.
They needed us, and we needed them. We worked in unison planning our Trump Trains on alternating weekends. Some people ask why? Even President Trump Supporters, ask why we do it….
Well, the obvious number one reason was to show support for Trump being reelected. These all started in 2020 when the Democrats released Covid on us and locked our country down.
We drove around in our trucks to show our support. We followed traffic laws. If we felt it was going to be a huge “train” we contacted law enforcement, because of course, we Back the Blue, and don’t intend to make their life harder.
After President Trump won in 2024 (the third time), we’ve had celebratory trains, maybe Trump’s birthday or other significant events. German Newscasters came and filmed us. We’ve worked with the Gunfighters on Main St.
We were, unintentionally, disrupting their show at noon, and agreed to move the trains to 11am. It is a small town afterall, and we realized the importance of working together. We began the trains at the Republican headquarters, which brought in a significant amount of money that was put back into the community (that’s for another article)!
We ended them all at local restaurants to give them business they may not have had otherwise. We contacted the business owners, got their approval, and made up the flyer. So why out of nowhere did we need another Trump Train this past Saturday? Who were these protesters coming into our town? Who was really behind this??
After very little research, it was found that the current Bandera County Democrat Chair created the event!! Many patriots were contacting me, that I didn’t know and asking for a “counter protest”, if you will. They were very upset this was happening. Many contacts of mine were letting me know they were going to be there! Ok, let’s do this!
Tiffany and I planned it, made it a flyer and got the word out. Because we had already done several of these helping the Kerrville Trump Train, we had some experience.
Our Bandera County Trump Train Facebook page has @375 members, so we were going to definitely use it to get the word out. We shared on all kinds of facebook groups and emails. We met the Trump Store, who opened up early for us, and prayed.
We always begin our Trump Trains with a pep talk, candidate updates and a prayer. We go over the route and some simple tips. We were planning to circle the protesters by splitting in half at the corner and have two circles of vehicles going around them.
I advised our patriots not to engage, I knew there were going to have some signs that ALL of us would disagree with (and boy did they)!
So their (the “anti-fascists”) main rebuttal was “we have a right”. Absolutely 100% yes, us Patriots, more than anybody believe in The Bill of Rights. BUT, do we want ANTIFA (anti-fascist) in our county??? NO, absolutely not. They claim to be “mostly peaceful” protesters, were they planning to burn the courthouse down???
Well, we weren’t going to let them do any of that without being unanswered.
It went very smoothly, and The Bandera County Trump Train will always be ready. God Bless America, and God Bless Bandera County.
