I realize you have had trouble recruiting any local Republicans to take on the responsibility of writing weekly opinion pieces for the Bulletin (something that Laurence Doxsey, Jodie Sinclair and I have been doing for a number of years now).
Maybe that’s what happens when folks take their majority status for granted and don’t think it requires any effort. I don’t know, but the pieces that you substitute, in your admirable efforts to balance the page, are not very impressive.
“Americans For Limited Government”, the organization that supplies the columns, is definitely mis-named. Citizens being literally dragged from their homes, unwanted National Guard troops being deployed to Democratic-led cities, and unauthorized deadly air strikes in international waters are not the actions of a “limited government”.
Note to readers: anytime a column relies largely on the results of polls for its content, you might as well put the page directly into the birdcage.
