The library thanks the Hancher Foundation for supporting these improvements for the community.

The class will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the library meeting room. This is a free event for the community.
On Monday, Nov. 17, the Christian Book Club will meet from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
On Tuesday, Nov. 25, the Evening Book Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. to discuss Not Too Late: The Power of Pushing Limits at Any Age by Gwendolyn Bounds.
Preschool Storytime is offered twice each week, with the same program at both sessions, on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 1 p.m.
The program is designed to build early literacy skills and help prepare children for school.
Each session includes songs, two interactive stories, letter or number recognition, movement activities and a craft. Afterward, children often play together while adults visit.
All ages are welcome, but the program is designed for children ages 2 to 6.
Dianna Landes is the Director of the Lakehills Area Library.
