TheMedinaCommunity Library will host a free chess tournament on Sunday, Nov. 24, open to players of all ages and skill levels.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for youth ages 8 and up, and from 4 to 8:30 p.m. for adults and experienced players.
A concession stand, operated by the Junior Library Board as a fundraiser, will be available throughout the day.
Participants are asked to register in advance by calling 830-589-2825.
Last year’s tournament drew strong community interest, and organizers expect another successful event this year.
