Third grader Quaid Lautzenheiser visited the Medina Community Library on Friday, Oct. 24, as a guest author. His story, Pickles’ Birthday Party, earned first place in the K–3 division of the 2024 Texas Word Wrangler Festival. Students from Medina ISD and local homeschoolers gathered to celebrate his achievement and hear him share his work.
