The Bandera Bulldogs continued their perfect season Friday night, holding off Devine for a 21-14 road win and their eighth straight victory.
The matchup marked redemption for Bandera, which fell to the Warhorses 23-13 in their previous meeting.
This time, the Bulldogs controlled the pace on both sides of the ball to remain unbeaten.
Devine found offensive success through Enoch Hall and Karter Brown. Hall totaled 187 yards and scored once, while Brown added 54 rushing yards and a touchdown. Despite those efforts, Bandera’s defense held firm in key moments to preserve the win.
The victory improved Bandera’s record to 8-0 overall, while Devine dropped to 3-6 overall and 2-1 in district play.
Bandera will return home Friday to host San Antonio Memorial at 7 p.m. for their homecoming game.
The Warhorses will face Memorial the following week, on Nov. 7.
