The Bandera Chamber of Commerce hosted a kickoff party Thursday evening at the First National Ice Haus to gear up for the 64th Annual Buckfest Dinner & Dance.
The free event ran from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Ice Haus event center on Main Street.
The chamber provided food for attendees, while Bandera Brewery supplied beer and the venue offered wine at no charge.
Guests could also purchase Gun Raffle tickets, Buckfest tickets, and merchandise.
“We’re excited to bring the community together ahead of Buckfest,” a chamber spokesperson said. “It’s a great way to enjoy some food and drinks while supporting our local event.”
The main Buckfest celebration will be held Thursday, Oct. 31.
The event features a dinner and dance, live and silent auctions, and music by the Brian Black Band.
Gates open at 5 p.m. Raffle tickets for 16 guns are currently on sale for $20 each or six for $100.
Tickets are available at the Chamber office, Bandera Gun Works, B-Daddy’s BBQ, TX Design Landscapers and Bandera Brewery.
Tables for the event can be sponsored through the Chamber, and tickets can be purchased online or in person.
