Special to the Bulletin
The Hill Country Alliance will celebrate 20 years of protecting the Texas Hill Country with an anniversary party on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 9:30 p.m. at Knibbe Ranch in Spring Branch.
The milestone event will bring together more than 400 community leaders, conservation advocates and residents for an evening of live music, food and family- friendly activities.
Performers include Bruce Robison, Will & The Wilderness, Katie Shore and surprise guests.
Guests will enjoy a barbecue dinner with complimentary wine, beer from Pint & Plow Brewing and Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails.
Activities will include hayride ranch tours, photos with a live Texas Longhorn, s’mores by the campfire, yard games, face painting, a custom embroidery station and stargazing with telescopes.
HCA is offering sponsorships and accepting silent auction donations to support its ongoing conservation work.
Since its founding in 2004, the nonprofit has helped protect open spaces, clean water, starry night skies and the unique character of the 17-county Hill Country region through initiatives in land stewardship, riparian management, flood recovery and water planning.
Tickets and more information are available at hillcountryalliance.org/ events/20yearanniversary.
