Step back into time when bootleggers raced through back roads with clandestine loads of homemade liquor in mason jars.
The Frontier Times Museum is celebrating their third annual Moonshine & MoonPie soiree fundraiser on Saturday, October 18, on the museum grounds from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Guests will be treated to a traditional Southern dinner catered by Trail Boss Steak and Grill while enjoying live music from Mish Mash, a variety band that will entertain guests throughout the evening. Dancing will be encouraged.
Moonshine has become quite sophisticated since the long-ago days of hidden mountain stills. A Moonshine Sample Bar will allow guests to taste several flavors of Moonshine. To top off the evening, homemade Moon Pies make a great pairing with the Moonshine.
Tickets are still available for purchase at the Frontier Times Museum for $50 each or at the event. Please note that attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Full Moon Sponsors for the event are the Texas Partners Bank and the Pipe Creek Animal Clinic.
The museum is located at 510 13th Street in Bandera, Texas.
