The Bandera Bulldogs kept their perfect season alive Friday night, defeating Comfort 28-20 to close out non-district play with a 6-0 record.
It marks the program’s first undefeated non-district finish since 2019.
Quarterback Dalton Parks and wide receiver Jeffry Thomas were the difference-makers, connecting for three long touchdowns that shifted momentum each time the game tightened.
Thomas finished with 179 receiving yards on six catches, while Parks passed for 220 yards on the night.
Bandera first pulled ahead just before halftime when running back Jake Cesta powered into the end zone from two yards out, sending the Bulldogs into the locker room with a 21-14 lead.
In the third quarter, Parks and Thomas struck again to extend the lead, and from there the Bulldog defense clamped down, shutting out the Bobcats in the final frame to secure the win.
The victory keeps Bandera undefeated heading into district play.
The Bulldogs will host Pearsall at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bulldog Stadium, which will also serve as First Responders Night and Senior Night.
