The Book Sale will be held on Saturday, September 6, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Summer Reading for preschool kiddos will resume every Wednesday morning at 10:30, with songs, stories and crafts.
Texercise Select will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, until Sept. 18, 1-2:30 p.m. The class is for adults 60 years and older, teaching fitness through exercise and nutrition. It is a state-wide 10 week program sponsored by AACOG’s Area Agency on Aging.
Garden Club will meet Saturday, Sept. 20, at 11 a.m. They will host the Plant Adoption.
Yarn Club meets every Friday, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the library meeting room.
Christian Classic Literary Book Club meets Tuesday, Sept. 2 and Monday, Sept. 15, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The current study is “The Cost of Discipleship” by Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Savvy Seniors Savings Program: Money Management & Banking Products will be presented on Wednesdays, Sept. 17 and Sept. 24, from 2-3 p.m. This class is for low-income senior citizens age 55 and up. It is a four-week presentation on money management, budgeting, and scam prevention and will continue until Oct. 8. It is sponsored by Silver Sage, National Council on Aging, and Bank of America. Attend all four sessions and receive a $50 gift card to Silver Sage Thrift Store.
Board meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 4:30 p.m. The Board is planning the Holiday Bazaar & Garage Sale on Saturday, Nov. 8, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and they are seeking vendors. The public is welcome and they are seeking more board members.
Evening Book Club will meet Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 5:30 to discuss “The Frozen River” by Ariel Lawhon.
