Radiant Journey Wellness Studio and Spa partnered with the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce for an anniversary celebration and Cork Popper event on Aug. 14 at the spa on Main Street, drawing a crowd of about 50 people.

Radiant Journey was founded by Kay Walsmith and is under the direction of owner and managing partner Kelly Adams.

“Radiant Journey Wellness Studio and Spa has grown so much since its beginning in the back of the building that we now occupy in its entirety. Our goal is to provide Bandera with something that will enrich and improve the lives of anyone and everyone that we possibly can. We have plans to expand so please stay tuned for the next chapter. Three years is just the start,” Adams said.

Trainer Taylor Wade welcomed guests into the Gathering Room, where refreshments and wine were provided.

Wade, who teaches classes in dance fitness, functional training, resistance bands, balance and stability, and strength training, greeted Chamber Ambassadors and explained his role at the spa.

Dr. Kelly Pacheco, a bioenergetic and natural medicine expert, circulated through the crowd, chatting with attendees.

Although reserved, Dr. Pacheco said she was glad to see such a large turnout for the anniversary celebration.

Allison May, a licensed massage therapist, stopped to talk with guests and said, “How blessed we are that we are still here. Thank you to everyone that has supported us and may we have many more years.”

May provides services including wellness massage, cupping, reflexology, exfoliation, and skin treatments.

Local performer and cycling instructor Doug Coberly played and sang for the group, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The spa also provided a large table of prizes for a drawing at the end of the evening.

Many local Bandera residents joined the celebration, socializing throughout the building. Guests browsed the boutique’s wares and enjoyed the food and drinks provided.

Radiant Journey offers a variety of services, including zero gravity massage chairs, a red light/salt vitality booth, a bio-trinity mat, Kloud PEMF therapy, BrainTap, HyperVibe, Cocoon fitness pod, ionic foot baths, paraffin hand wax treatments, foot bath massagers, facials, fascia blasting, CBD products, group classes, and life coaching.
