Carita Jundt, manager of the Bandera County Convention & Visitors Bureau, was among 23 Texas tourism professionals honored June 26 for completing the Certified Tourism Executive (CTE) program.
The recognition ceremony took place at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center in College Station. The three-year certification, offered through Travel & Tourism College, a program of the Texas Travel Alliance, includes coursework in marketing, management, leadership and administration.
The Bandera CVB extended its congratulations to Jundt on the achievement.
The CTE designation is considered a mark of professional excellence in the travel and tourism industry.
