Why Do We Listen to Dem’s Threats?

Last week, the media was flooded with stories coming from a group of named and anonymous Democratic office-holders all warning in the gravest tones possible that their “base” has had enough. There were open calls, we were warned, for arrests, for direct confrontation, for extreme action, even blood!

Axios quoted one stating, “Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough… Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot… that there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public.”

Another despaired, “civility isn’t working” and to be “[be ready for] violence … to fight to protect our democracy.”
