Kerrville police arrested local resident Bradley Love early Saturday morning on a charge related to an improper relationship between an educator and a student.
The arrest occurred at 2:28 a.m. on June 14, following an investigation launched after a report was made by a third party.
According to Kerr County jail records, the alleged incident took place on April 25, 2025. Authorities confirmed they obtained a warrant before taking Love into custody.
Love is employed as a teacher and coach at Medina High School. However, records from the Texas Education Agency show he does not currently hold a teaching certification.
Medina ISD Superintendent Lindsey Kunz acknowledged the situation in a statement.
“The district has received reports that an employee was arrested Saturday, June 14, 2025. We are awaiting confirmation and details from the law enforcement unit that arrested the employee,” Kunz said. “The district will cooperate with any investigation by law enforcement.”
Love was released the same day after posting a $50,000 bond.
A 2017 graduate of Tivy High School, Love played basketball during his time there. He later studied Exercise Science at Schreiner University, where he was listed as a guard on the university’s basketball team from 2019 to 2022.
