Symphony of the Hills is celebrating its 25th anniversary season with five concerts in the newly refurbished Cailloux Theater — and fans who want to reserve preferred Patron seating have until June 20 to do so.
The Patron Level includes a gift amount above the ticket price and provides priority seating for the entire 2025–26 season, along with a listing in the program.
Returning patrons may renew or request a seat change, while new patrons are invited to join by calling the symphony office at 830792-7469, emailing [email protected], or visiting www.symphonyofthehills. org and clicking on “Season Tickets.”
Key dates for other seating options include July 3, the deadline for subscribers to purchase season seating at regular prices, and Aug. 25, when any remaining individual concert seats will be released for public sale.
Concerts begin at 7 p.m., with a pre-concert reception at 6 p.m. for all ticket holders. All events will take place at the Cailloux Theater, 910 Main St., Kerrville.
The 2025–26 “A Time to Celebrate” season includes the following programs:
Oct. 9, 2025 A Time to Remember: Bach to The Beatles
Featuring works by Bach, Beethoven, Amy Beach, Mozart (with clarinet soloist Vanguel Tangarov), and an orchestral Beatles medley arranged by Bob Lowden.
Dec. 4, 2025 A Time to Rejoice: Handel’s Messiah
Selections from Handel’s Messiah will headline a festive program that also includes Sleigh Ride, White Christmas, and holiday medleys. Andrea Runnels will guest conduct.
Jan. 3, 2026 ATime to Dance: All That Jazz
A high-energy pops concert spotlighting music from Chicago, West Side Story, Carousel, and A Chorus Line, plus works by Gershwin, Ellington, and more. The Tivy High School Golden Girls dance team will join the performance.
Feb. 26, 2026 ATime to Dazzle: Tatiana Dorokhova
Gurwitz silver medalist Tatiana Dorokhova will perform Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3. The concert also features Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition and Joan Tower’s Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman No. 6.
April 30, 2026 ATime to Soar: The Planets
The season finale includes Strauss’s Also Sprach Zarathustra, Zwilich’s bass trombone concerto with soloist Rod Leonard, and Holst’s The Planets, performed with the Symphony Women’s Chorus.
