BHS staff member charged with aggravated sexual assault

A Bandera High School staff member was arrested Friday with multiple charges including aggravated sexual assault. 

Sheriff Josh Teitge said BHS administration contacted the department about the allegation, prompting an immediate criminal investigation. 

Investigators interviewed the student and secured potential evidence, which led to arrest warrants for Christopher Sandoval Mata.
