I love hunting and fishing but knew nobody and knew nothing of finding places to hunt here in Texas. I soon received a blessing that I didn’t see coming. Christian Bowhunters of Texas is a local chapter of the Christian Bowhunters of America. We are a non-profit group that offers ministry and a chance to share Gods word in a non-denominational, non judgmental setting. We provide wild game to local food pantries and directly to local families in the Hill country and surrounding areas. We offer a chance to get out and hunt, be involved with hunting preparation and contribute to our local communities. We primarily bow hunt and manage game on several ranches in the Hill country area. All the work and funds necessary are provided by the members and local donors. Hunting and food donation are a big part of our ministry but sharing and spreading the word of God with each other and others who may not have heard the word is our first priority.
Ifyouareaseasonedhunterorhaveneverhuntedbeforeyouarewelcome. If you just want a chance to get out in nature for the chance to relax or take pictures you are welcome. We also love to introduce or facilitate the chance for kidstocomeouttoo!! Parentsarealwayswelcometoaccompanytheirchildren.
