Despite the loss, Coach Larry Jackson praised the team for doing their performance at the plate and for their patience waiting for pitches in the strike zone. “The Lady Cats keep learning and improving as the year progresses,” he said. “We just need to be able to fit the pieces all together at the same time.” The team would go on to lose the next four games, with their away game against Center Point being decided by one point.

While the Lady Bulldogs showed a lot of spirit, they couldn’t overcome the powerful pitching and strong batting of Boerne. The Lady Greyhounds scored ten runs in the first three innings and went on to win the game with 13 runs, shutting out the Lady Bulldogs.
