Have physical or mental impairments, which make meal preparation difficult. The Silver Sage Meals on Wheels Program can help immediately. Call 830-796-4969 and speak with one of the Silver Sage Staff members. The program is expanding with the need. Right now, Silver Sage’s chef, James Moore, cooks 250 meals every day, five days a week. Seventeen Silver Sage Jeep drivers deliver the meals. At the same time, he cooks 80 to 100 meals every day for seniors in need who can get to the center for lunch.

Need a bigger Growing Up in Bandera If you really want to see what is so different about the Bandera of today when compared to the town back in the day just take a seat along Main Street. Watch the creeping traffic flow as it passes by and take note of how long you get to visually inspect each vehicle.
