  • Siesta Valley Ranch Walk

    There will be a 3 mile welcome walk available as well as the normal 6 mile walk. See cattle, buffalo, and other critters as you walk through the scenic Hill Country of Texas. The walk is non-competitive, family oriented, and on a marked trail. The route is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Starts between 7:30am and 11:00am. Finish by 1:00pm. You're welcome to do the 3 mile Welcome Walk if starting on or after 10:30am. Parking attendants will be on hand to direct traffic. All walkers must sign a waiver and pre-register by September 26, 2008.   • Bandera Downs Expo Trade Days

    Trade Days features local artists, crafters, food vendors and cottage businesses. We offer 35 acres of asphalt parking, covered shopping area,no parking fees, no admission fees and RV's are welcome. Space rentals are $35 and up for all 3 days! Trade days is every full third weekend of the month. Hours are 9AM to 5PM Friday and Saturday, 10Am to 4PM on Sunday Call 817-832-9936 for more informtion

  • GED Classes

    Registration for Fall Semester GED Preparation Class is Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 4 and 5, at 6 p.m. in Bandera Adult Literacy Center, rear of Bandera County Library, 515 Main St., Bandera, entrance and parking from Pecan St. Class meets every following Monday and Wednesday, 6-9 p.m. No tuition charge, but $20 refundable materials deposit required. Must commit to complete five GED tests or Fall semester of 12 weeks (whichever comes first). Liimit of 12 students.

  • Medina High School Homecoming Football Game!

    Watch the Medina Bobcats football game and enjoy Homecoming at the same time! Game begins at 7:30 pm.

  • Down Home Country Parade in Center Point

    The Down Home Country Parade in Center Point, will be Saturday, July 14. The parade steps off at 10:15 a.m. in downtown Center Point. The parade has many local luminaries and businesses. Immediately following the parade is the annual Center Point Volunteer Fire Department barbeque served from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., games, craft booths and the annual Fireman’s Dance starting 9 p.m.
