The Bandera ProRodeo Association Memorial Day Weekend Stampede Rodeos provided another year of high-flying entertainment nightly from May 24-26 and paid out almost $34,807 in prize money to the cowboys and cowgirls who won and placed in their events, officials said.

    The rodeo’s All-Around champion for the fourth year was Clint Singleton, who won a total of nearly

$2,181.  Officials said he has won the title four of the five years the ProRodeo Association has sponsored the event.

       The top finishers and their place of residence in the different events were:

        In Bareback Riding, Tyler Johnson of Holder, Louisiana and Paden Hurst of Cypress, tied for first, Payton Lackey of Blanco and Tim Murphy of Wheeler, tied for third;

        In Saddle Bronc Riding, Parker Kempfer of Melbourne, Florida, first, Brody Cress of Hillsdale, Wyoming and Jacobs Crawley of Boerne, tied for second, Toby Collins of Stephenville, fourth, and Jarrod Hammons of Stephenville and Dalton Davis of Holcomb, Kansas, tied for fifth;

       In Bull Riding, Maverick Potter of Waxahachie, first, Reid Barker of Comfort, second, Foster McCraw of Navasota, third, Rorey Maier of Timber Lake, South Dakota, fourth, and Jeff Askey of Athens, fifth;

       In Tie Down Roping, Clinton Singleton of Comfort, first, Clint Nyegaard of Cuero, second, Craig Leonard of Sonora, third, Keid Williams of Stephenville, fourth, Jayce Johnson of Wallis, fifth, and Landyn Duncan of Weatherford, sixth;

       In Steer Wrestling, Singleton, first, Rowdy Thames of Buda, second, Dylan Schroeder of Waller, third, and Walt Arnold of Coleman, fourth;

   In Barrel Racing, Alex Lang of Harper, first, Ashley Castleberry of Montgomery, second, Tammy Fischer of Ledbetter, third, Jean Bean of Fort Hancock and Britany Diaz of Solen, North Dakota, tied for fourth, Lisa Thornton of Plum, sixth, Clay Sewalt of Del Rio, seventh, Whitley Whitewood of Bryan, eighth, Alyssa Urbanek of Stephenville, ninth, and Shelby Garcia of Poolville, tenth.

     In Team Roping, the teams of Tyler Waters and Seth Smithson, first, Nick Sartain and Austin Rogers, second, Lane Ivy and B.J. Dugger, third, Nelson Wyatt and Levi Lord, fourth, Ryne Hutton and Skeeter Hill, fifth, and Aaron Macy and Dillon Wingereid, sixth.
