School is out for the summer, but athletic camps for Bandera Independent School District students are about to start up.
The Bulldog summer baseball camp will be held on Tuesday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Bandera baseball field at the high school. The high school is at 474 Old San Antonio Highway.
The camp is for boys entering fifth-through-ninth grades for the 2019-2020 school year. It will introduce players to practice drills and game situations that high school players experience during a season.
Those attending the camp will receive individualized attention in the areas of batting, catching, throwing, pitching, base running, rules and situational play.

The basketball camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 22-23 at the Bandera High School gym for boys and girls from kindergarten to eighth grade.
The cost is $20, which includes a camp t-shirt and basketball.
Checks should be made to Bandera Basketball Camp, P.O. Box 727, Bandera, Texas, 78003. Payments also may be made on the first day of camp.
Strength and Conditioning Camp
The camp started on Monday, June 10, and runs through late July.

The camp is open to all students entering seventh- through-twelfth grades and runs Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m., which some exceptions in July.
