The Lady Bulldog Softball team closed out their season on Tuesday, April 20 with a final count of eight wins and 11 losses for the year.

Riley Smith, Nalyzza Rodriguez, Celeste Martinez, Cami Chesler, Aubrey Mangold, and April Rodriguez played in all 17 games this season.

The Lady Bulldogs came to the plate 487 times, with Nalyzza Rodriguez leading the team with 61 appearances.

The team had 399 at bats for the season with Aubrey Mangold and Nalyzza Rodriguez tied with 53 at bats each.

The Lady Bulldogs had 154 hits on the season, with Aubrey Mangold leading the team with 24 individual hits.

There were four homeruns for the season hit by Nalyzza Rodriguez, Cami Chesler, Maelyn Haley and April Rodriguez.

The Lady Bulldogs ended the season with 89 runs batted in.

The team hit 117 runs, with Nalyzza Rodriguez leading with 19 runs.

The Lady Bulldogs were hit by the pitch ten times during the season, with Maelynn Haley and Cami Chesler earning the honor of being tied at 3 each.

The Lady Bulldogs had 67 base on balls, with Riley Smith leading the team with 13 walks.

The batting average for the team this year was .386, with Aubrey Mangold in the lead with a personal best of .453.

The Lady Bulldogs stole 104 bases this season, with Nalyzza Rodriguez leading at 17 bases stolen.

Coach Samantha Crowley remarked that the Lady Bulldogs had a challenging season but played with determination and spirit throughout. She looks forward to leading the Lady Bulldog Softball team next year.

The Bandera Athletics Awards Ceremony is Monday, May 3, at 6:30 p.m. at Bulldog Stadium.

Athletic participation physicals for next school year will be held on May 11 beginning at 4 pm.

Physicals for current athletes will be $20.
