The Lady Bulldog basketball team fell Jan. 3 to the tenth-ranked Navarro Lady Panthers, who led throughout the game and relied on their superior free throw shooting and layups to win the game Senior Summer Haby put the game’s first points on the board with a soft two on a breakaway. The Lady Bulldogs’ shooting was off; after Haby’s initial goal, the team was not able to put it in the hoop. Brooklyn Grabs got in a good block against Navarro but fouled in the process, allowing the Panthers to go to the free throw line for two more points.
