BMS volleyball vaporizes Blanco

The Lady Bulldogs’ middle school teams each earned victories at home against the Blanco Panthers last Monday, August 30.

The seventh grade Lady Bulldog B team earned their first win of the season when they defeated Blanco in 2 close sets, 25-20 and 25-21.

Strong serving from Ciana Salinas and Milesia Casas helped the Bulldogs edge out the Panthers.

The seventh grade Lady Bulldog A team remained undefeated when they made quick work of Blanco in two quick sets, 25-11 and 25-14.

Again, Bandera’s serving was their strength, but they also backed it up with aggressive defensive play.

The eighth grade B Team beat the Blanco Panthers in Monday’s game as well, also remaining undefeated.

Bandera girls came ready to play, earning points on serves. Picconi led the team up by 10 points with her serves. Bulldogs girls are undefeated.

The Lady Bulldog 8th grade A team carved out a victory against Blanco in two nail-biting games.

The Lady Bulldogs won the first set 23-25, with Tatum Moeller scoring 10 points.

In the second game, Mary Freeman scored six points, Lexis Moore scored eight points and Cayleigh Thaler brought home the win, serving the final two points to win 25-27 .
