Baseball ticket deadline approaching

The deadline for discount tickets to a special Bandera-themed minor league baseball night is approaching.

Bandera residents have until August 2 to pick up discounted tickets for the San Antonio Missions’ September 3 game against the Corpus Christi Hooks.

The Saturday evening game at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium will be known as Bandera Community Night, will feature Marshal Will Dietrich throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and will conclude with fireworks after the game.

“We need everyone to come out for a great night of fun at the ballpark,” Dietrich told the Bulletin earlier this month. “Even if they don’t like baseball, I would hate for anyone to miss out if I miss the plate with the first pitch!!!”

Tickets, which are priced at $15 and are located in the infield bleachers, can be purchased at fevo.me/ banderacommunity9322.

Tickets can still be purchased after the deadline, but they will not be discounted.

Nelson W. Wolff Municpal Stadium is located at 5757 W Hwy 90 in San Antonio.
