Classrooms of teachers Miranda Little of Hill Country Elementary and Lori Bagwell of Bandera Middle school recently received makeovers to provide a more appealing environment to students, support blended learning and are flexible in design. Changes to the classrooms included updates to floors, ceilings, walls, lighting and furniture, the replacement of traditional desks with new furniture and the addition of a new large whiteboard and ceiling-mounted computer projector. “This is what teachers dream about,” said Bagwell. “These changes let kids see that we will do anything to make them more comfortable and able to learn.” Little’s and Bagwell’s classrooms were selected for the ...
