LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

I was in Bandera on July 2 and 3 and picked up a copy of your paper. I would like to take this opportunity to express my opinion that differs from that expressed by Susan Hall in a column she wrote in the June 29 edition of your fine paper.

First of all, it should be noted that there was a lot of information that she left out. Intentional? She completely ignored the fact that President Trump had National Guard troops ready to be on hand on Jan. 6, but Nancy Pelosi turned them down? Would it interfere with her plans to paint the Trump supporters as domestic terrorists? It seems strange to me that the people who were there to support President Trump that day have been persued relentlessly and the Antifa and BLM rioters of the summer of 2020 have not been persued.

Also, a recent witness lied to the committee. The Secret Service and others have totally disputed this woman’s testimony before the committee. Are they only interested in witnesses who corroborate their narrative and agenda?

The Jan. 6 committee is only interested in persecuting Donald Trump, to prevent him from running for president in 2024. They have lied and tried to manufacture evidence against him, can anybody say Adam Schiff?

The committee should try to get to the bottom of what happened in the 2020 election. The media was complicit in covering up Hunter Biden’s and Joe Biden’s business dealings until after the election. Take an honest look at the money that Mark Zuckerberg used to buy the election. I also ask you to look at the documentary “2000 Mules”. Many of the Secretaries of State in states that were considered to be close changed their election laws in violation of the law. Only state legislatures can do that, legally. Just take a fair and unbiased look at ALL the facts.
