As a reader of the editorial page, I note a pattern in the Democratic columns: The president is: (favorite derogatory epithet). They also resort to pop psychiatry to impugn his supporters. In a county that voted near 80% Republican, the obvious motive is to discourage voting for President Trump, as opposed to extoling the virtues of the Democrat ticket, assuming some could be found. The questions to be answered: “Is there any credibility in the hyperbolic claims?” and “Have the leftist policies of the opponents improved anything?” Going out on a psychiatric limb myself, I’d say people who are self-supporting, entrepreneurial, Constitution-respecting,
