The King Is Coming

There is much going on in the world today that give credence to our thinking that Jesus will be returning to earth in this decade or early 2030’s. No one knows when except God, (Matt. 24:36, 44 ).

4-Star General Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, reported to a congressional committee China is increasing its military capacity at a very serious and sustained rate, a threat to the U.S. and to world stability and peace. They are increasingly assertive to attack Taiwan and cause disputes over territory. Iran proxy armies Hamas and Hezbella are threatening to wipe out the nation of Israel, our top ally in the Middle East. Russia (Putin) is using cyber-weapons to spread hatred and division inside the U.S. It has been said Putin plays chess while the U.S. plays marbles.

Autocratic run governments of our adversaries have caused the will of the American people to be diminished, dividing us and questioning our confidence in our democratic principles, institutions and processes.

The Washington Examiner reports, “Our public education has abandoned their responsibilities.”

Decision Magazine says the modern church has lost its director, the Holy Spirit, to regain control of its activities and once again “turn the world upside down” (Acts 5:28). “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).

Our current administration’s open border policy is letting in criminals by the thousands from drug pushers, sex traffickers, terrorists to cruel MS-13 killers along with hurting families we call asylums, who have been pushed out of their homes and countries.

Inflation has taken over our economy. Many grocery stores are worried about food shortages, demands for survival food is surging. The cost of living has brought anxiety to many families. Crime and killings have increased throughout the country.

Could the return of Jesus to earth be coming soon? “He Himself will rule with a rod of iron.” (Rev. 19:11-16)?
