I write this immediately after Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s (RBG) death, may she rest in peace. It would’ve been nice to reflect upon her personality and policies, but that’s impossible. Democrats immediately threatened while Republicans maneuvered. Furious Democrats promise war if the senate nominates someone for the vacant Supreme Court (SCOTUS) seat. It’s pretty telling as everyone just assumes there’ll be rioting/violence when Democrats are upset. Twitter represents a small, hyper-vocal, uber-influential group.
