Books for all ages available at Lakehills

Posted in:

Newly released books are coming in every week to the Lakehills Area library, located at 7200 FM 1283.

About 40 children’s picture books are available thanks to a generous donation.

We’ve also added new books for middle grade readers, young adults and non-fiction lovers.

Latest books added to the library’s collection include “Simon the Fiddler” by Paulette Jules, “Fortune and Glory” by Janet Evanovich, “The Dirty South” by John Connolly, “The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue” by Victoria Schwab and “The Sentinel” by Lee Child, with many more available to check out.

Preschool Storytime continues virtually with Ms. Dianna’s reading and weekly crafts designed to meet preschool learning requirements with an emphasis on letters, numbers, reading and writing.

Parents can register by emailing lakehillslibrary@ or calling the library at 830-51-2777

Library cards are available for free and grant access to thousands of downloadable eBooks, audio books, and online databases.

We are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Patrons are required to wear a face covering and social distance when in the library

Those not comfortable going inside the library may access all library services at the front door.

We look forward to serving citizens of Pipe Creek, Lakehills and Mico.

Dianna Lanes is the director of the Lakehills Area Library.
