The Hill Country Preppers will host Curly Harris, the Chuck Wagon Cook, at their next meeting at Buzzie BBQ, located at 213 Schreiner St. in Kerrville. Curly will provide alternatives to electric and gas cooking and share some off-the-grid recipes. Masks are encouraged but not required. Vineyard of God Christian School’s Backyard BBQ Bash will be held at Bandera Ale Project. Food service begins 5:30. Music from Lance and Lea begins at 6:00. Presale tickets are $10. The Silver Sage will host their Community Thanksgiving Meal Drive-Thru for Bandera County from 19:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. To reserve your meal, call 830-796-4969 before Friday, Nov. 20. Silver Sage reminds Meals on Wheels clients their Thanksgiving dinners will be delivered Nov. 25th, so there is no need to reserve a meal. The Silver Sage is located at 803 Buck Creek in Bandera.
