WANDA MARIE (ESTRADA) SEIFERT

Wanda Marie (Estrada) Seifert, of Pipe Creek, Texas, was received into the Mercy of Christ on January 26th, 2023. She was born to Louis H. and Ramona Estrada on December 9, 1951.

Wanda served as a Regional/ Managing Director for UPS while raising her son, Patrick Stone.

She was married on April 5th, 1986, in San Antonio, Texas to James (Jim) Seifert for 36 years. Later, she stepped down from UPS in order to raise and homeschool her 4 younger children.

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband Jim, parents Louis H. and Ramona Estrada, brothers Homer Estrada and Rev. Domingo Estrada O.M.I, and granddaughter Olivia Buckley. Wanda is survived by her parents inlaw, AJ and Joan Seifert, her children Patrick and (Angela) Stone, Theresea and (Christopher) Buckley, Claire and (Robert) Gray, Caleb Seifert, and Colette Seifert; her brother Arthur and Ruth Estrada, brother Jerry and Victoria Estrada, sister Virginia (Jeannie) Weltens, and sister Catherine (Bernie) Almaraz; her grandchildren Sophia, Jacqueline, and Kiara Stone; Evangeline, Ariadne, and Ambrose Buckley; and Luke and Elliott Gray.

Wanda’s distinctive laugh, adventurous spirit, generosity, wonderful cooking, and vibrant love have a permanent place in all of our hearts. Her strength through hardships and bold trust in God’s Will are strong examples of her devotion in her Catholic Faith. Her curiosity always led her back to a beautiful wonder for God’s creation. Her genuine love for others was always felt by the way she would drop everything when someone needed help. She enjoyed crafting and creating with her hands, such as stainedglass artwork and sewing, and growing beautiful flowers in her garden.

Her family wishes to thank all family and friends for your kindness and prayers during this time.

A Rosary will be held at 9:30 AM on February 11, 2023, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bandera, TX.

A Funeral Mass will follow the Rosary at St. Stanislaus at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.
