Robert Arthur Marsch, age 71, went to his eternal rest on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Affectionately known as “Bobby” to his friends and family, he died due to complications from COPD and pneumonia.

Bobby was born on June 6, 1949, and was a proud US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War from July 1969 - March 1971. His generosity, kindness and love included caring for his family and many beloved dogs.

During his life, his occupations included, working for New Braunfels Power and Light Company, working as a truck driver, a cable installer for UA Columbia, and a chauffeur. He enjoyed boating, riding motorcycles and barbecuing with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Margaret & Joe Marsch, beloved wife Linda, and his older brother Jimmy Marsch. He is survived by his brother Alfred J. Marsch & wife Gail, his sisters, Elaine P. Goldbach, Becky L. Marsch Saathoff & her husband Doug Saathoff, and brother, Michael C. Marsch & wife Patricia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Angelus Funeral Home, 119 North St. Mary’s St., San Antonio, Texas, 78215 with visitation on Wednesday, June 16th at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Catholic Church at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 17th, followed with burial at Fort Sam Houston at 9:45 a.m. Mass cards may be ordered as a remembrance of your generous and faithfilled gift.
