Marvin Oscar Langner, 86 of Sugar Land, Texas passed away on June 1 in Sugar Land.

He was born in Knippa, Texas to Gus and Ida Langner on May 11,1934. He married Nova Ann Norwood on Nov. 24, 1961 in Hondo.

He went to high school in Uvalde. He worked as a systems specialist for City Public Service for over 35 years.

He also served five years in the Army as a medic. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Herbert Langner.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife Nova, his son Steven and daughter-in-law Katherine Langner, and one granddaughter Jessica Ann Langner Lee and husband Ethan.

Marvin recently had the pleasure of becoming a great-grandfather to Owen Lee this past April. He is also survived by his brother Eugene and sisters Janet and Vivian.

He also has many nieces and nephews that he was extremely fond of and close too. They were like his own children.

Due to current circumstances, the family will have a private burial with a memorial service for friends and family at later date to celebrate Marvin’s life.
