JoAnn Ivy Bednar peacefully passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at the age of 72. Born on March 2, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas to parents James Ivy and Virginia McHenry, JoAnn was a kindhearted, fun-loving person. JoAnn lived a life of service, spending her professional life working at the University of Texas Health Science Center and her private life caring for her handicapped son Keith.
