Jesse Bruce Pollard, Jr. of Bandera, Texas passed away on Aug. 16, 2020 in Bandera.

He was born on Jan. 12, 1948 in Olney, Texas to Jesse Bruce Pollard, Sr. and Joyce Perkins Pollard.

He married Connie Pollard on Jan. 1, 1990 in Midland, Texas.

He went to school at Wichita Falls High and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. He worked as a CFO for United Wells for 30 years.

Jesse was a veteran of the Army National Guard.

Jesse Pollard was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Tami Wolfe.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Connie Raye Pollard, daughters, Tiffani Casey of Katy, Texas and Stephanie Jones of Odessa, Texas, a son, Joseph Jones of Pipe Creek, Texas, a brother, Troy Pollard of Texhoma, Texas, mother-in-law Genevieve Corich, Bandera, Texas, seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing was held on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Bandera, Texas.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 21, at 10 Grimes Funeral Chapels, Bandera, Texas. Burial followed at Bandera Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Billy Johnson, Darrell Cottle, Butch Breed, Joseph Jones, Jonah King and Johnny Paul. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Hansard and Mark Womble.

Memorials may be given to River City Hospice and Walker Memorial Baptist Church.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Lawrence Alder and Tri County Home Health.
