Gary F. Begy, 77, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020. Gary was a victim of COVID-19 which was contracted when he went to the hospital in San Antonio for back surgery. Please wear your masks. He was a 15-year resident of Bandera who was born Minnesota and raised in Chicago. He was a tool-and-die maker and tooling foreman at General Motors in Detroit for nine years. He finished his career at Mooney Airplane in Kerrville as a tooling engineer. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Margo Searls-Begy.
