Bob Hey of Bandera, TX, passed away May 21st, 2021.

He was surrounded by family.

Bobby was born in Providence, RI, on April 5th, 1935, to the late John And Mary Hey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Hey Jr., and sister, Varnor Erickson. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Heather Hey of Kerrville, TX. They owned and operated HRH Ranch in Pipe Creek for 20+ years, and Bob retired from Bandera County in 2016. He also was survived by Brother Al vin Hey (Denise) of North Kingston, R.I, Son (step) Dale Sheen, Daughter (step) Lauraine, Grandchildren Saralyn, Travis, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Great Grandchildren Kyle and Aria, along with many Nieces and Nephews.

Bob was a huge sports fan and was quite athletic in his day. Starting by putting four hours a day into a tuna can he buried in the ground, #30 Football player in high school on the all star team and becoming a very good golfer shooting in high 60’s and low 70’s.

Bob served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1945 with a very honorable 28-year career obtaining the highest rank of E-9, CMSGT, leading him to be known from then on as Chief Hey.

CMSGT Hey will be buried at Houston National Cemetery with a full Military Honors Funeral.
