The Hill Country University Center Foundation has awarded $17,900 for 2020 fall semester scholarships to 13 students, the foundation said in a news release earlier this month. The scholarships ranged in amounts from $500 to $1,950. A student from Fredericksburg was the lone student from Central Texas College-Fredericksburg to receive a scholarship, while 12 students from Texas Tech University-Fredericksburg received assistance.
