Last Saturday, the Bandera High School (BHS) UIL Academics, Speech and Debate team traveled to Medina Valley for the UIL invitational, where they placed in multiple team and individual categories in the first spring tournament of 2023.The BHS Speech and Debate Team placed first. Team members were Alyssa Brown, Steven Koonce, Savannah Venegas, Katelyn Mendez, Elijah Sarazua, Cassie Steffler and Alyssa Ruch.The BHS Computer Science team placed third.
