Transitional housing program available

Special to the Bulletin The Kendall County Women’s Shelter has launched a pilot program this year to help victims of domestic violence move from the shelter to transitional housing in the community, shelter officials said in a news release earlier this year. Funds the shelter received from the Texas Health and Human Services’ Family Violence Program and the Swalm Foundation have helped the shelter set up the transitional housing pilot program.
