Sheriff’s Arrests

Editor’s note – Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indication of guilt. People are presumed innocent after an arrest until convicted.

Although reasonable care is taken, clerical errors may exist.

In the section where those individuals who are arrested and booked are listed, law enforcement entities are denoted by the following abbreviations: SO – Sheriff’s Office; BTM – Bandera Town Marshal; DPS – Texas Department of Public Safety; PCT – Precinct/Constable; TPW – Texas Parks and Wildlife.

During the week of April 19-25, the following individuals were arrested:

Conrad Cuevas, 24, of Pearsall, arrested April 19 by Frio for possession of marijuana and a controlled substance.

Amanda Dering, 32, of Bandera, arrested April 20 by SO for arson.

Tiesha Rhodes, 34, of Bandera, arrested April 20 by SO for hindering apprehension/prosecution, released April 21.

James Rhodes, 33, of Bandera, arrested April 21 by SO on a warrant from an outside agency, two felony motion to revoke parole warrants, three counts of fialuring to register as a sex offender and two counts possession of a controlled substance.

Luis Aguilar, 34, of Pearsall, was housed for Frio on April 21.

Brandy Thornton, 34, of Mart, arrested April 21 by SO for two counts of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility, two counts of manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, assault of a public servant and possession of a controlled substance.

Alfredo Vallejo, 34, of Bandera, arrested April 21 by SO for driving with an invalid license, failure to appear and two traffic warrants.

Alexjandro Vara, 58, of Leakey, was housed for Real on April 21.

Timothy Cavin, 59, of Bandera, arrested April 22 by SO for manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, released April 22.

Crystal Anderson, 36, of Bandera, arrested April 22 by SO for manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, released April 22.

Andrew Dougherty, 50, of Bandera, arrested April 22 by SO for murder.

Martin Capetillo, 23, of San Antonio, arrested April 24 by SO for reckless driving, released April 25.

Diego Alvarado, 25, of San Antonio, arrested April 25 by SO for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a warrant from an outside agency.

Chastity Pope, 21, of Schertz, arrested April 25 by SO on a warrant from an outside agency and an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

As of April 26, there were 64 inmates in the Bandera County Jail. Four were from Medina County, two from Real and one from Frio.
