Sheriff’s Arrests

Editor’s note – Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indication of guilt. People are presumed innocent after an arrest until convicted.

Although reasonable care is taken, clerical errors may exist.

In the section where those individuals who are arrested and booked are listed, law enforcement entities are denoted by the following abbreviations: SO – Sheriff’s Office; BTM – Bandera Town Marshal; DPS – Texas Department of Public Safety; PCT – Precinct/Constable; TPW – Texas Parks and Wildlife.

During the week of Sept. 28 – Oct. 4, the following individuals were arrested:

David Broussard, 34, of Bandera, arrested Sept. 28 by BTM for public intoxication, released Oct. 3;

Wesley Schneider, 35, of Pipe Creek, arrested Sept. 29 by SO for a false drug test, released Sept. 30;

Gavin Fogle, 17, of Bandera, arrested Sept. 29 by SO for possession of marijuana, released Sept. 30;

Amanda Adams, 38, of Bandera, arrested Sept. 29 by SO for possession of a controlled substance and on a felony motion-to-revoke-probation warrant;

David Moreno, 25, of Bandera, arrested Oct. 1 by BTM for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and on a felony motion-to-revoke-probation warrant;

Cornelius Bruce, 30, of San Antonio, arrested Oct. 1 by SO for possession of marijuana, a prohibited weapon, on a failure-to-appear warrant and an offbond warrant;

Matthew Kievet, 27, of San Antonio, arrested Oct. 2 by SO for aggravated assault, released Oct. 4;

John Slay, 58, of Houston, arrested Oct. 2 by DPS for third-offense DWI, released Oct. 3;

Ian MacDonald, 41, of Lakehills, arrested Oct. 3 by SO for second-offense DWI, released Oct. 4;

Craig Loftin, 49, of Bulverde, arrested Oct. 4 by TPW for criminal mischief;

Melissa Loftin, 51, of Bulverde, arrested Oct. 4 by TPW for criminal mischief.

As of Oct. 5, the Bandera County Jail had 44 inmates, including three from Real County, three from Medina County and one from Frio County.
