Sheriff’s Arrests

Posted in:

Editor’s note – Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indication of guilt. People are presumed innocent after an arrest until convicted.

Although reasonable care is taken, clerical errors may exist.

In the section where those individuals who are arrested and booked are listed, law enforcement entities are denoted by the following abbreviations: SO – Sheriff’s Office; BTM – Bandera Town Marshal; DPS – Texas Department of Public Safety; PCT – Precinct/Constable; TPW – Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Between May 4-8, the following individuals were arrested:

Joshua Wendt, 25, of Pipe Creek, arrested May 4 by SO for credit card abuse, released May 5;

Herman Falkenberg, 38, of Kirby, arrested May 7 by SO on a warrant from an outside agency, released May 7;

Robert Brawner, 36, of Bandera, arrested May 7 by SO for forgery of a financial instrument, released May 8;

Kyle Tompkins, 40, of Bandera, arrested May 8 by BTM for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, theft, forgery of a financial instrument and unlawful possession by a felon, released May 9.

As of May 11, the Bandera County Jail had 52 inmates, including four from Medina County, four from Real County and one from Frio County.
