Sheriff’s Arrests

Editor’s note – Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indication of guilt. People are presumed innocent after an arrest until convicted.

Although reasonable care is taken, clerical errors may exist.

In the section where those individuals who are arrested and booked are listed, law enforcement entities are denoted by the following abbreviations: SO – Sheriff’s Office; BTM – Bandera Town Marshal; DPS – Texas Department of Public Safety; PCT – Precinct/Constable; TPW – Texas Parks and Wildlife.

From September 13-19, the following people were arrested:

John Hodgson, 34, of Jourdanton, arrested September 13 by SO for burglary of a habitation, possession of a controlled substance between four and 200 grams, theft between $200,000 and $100,000, forgery of government instruments, and theft of over $200,000.

Eric Cavin, 33, of Pipe Creek, arrested September 13 by SO on two capias pro fine warrants and for possession of a page one controlled substance less than a gram.

Gladys White, 30, of Lakehills, arrested September 13 by So for assaulting a public servant.

Aydan Sandoval, 24, of San Antonio, arrested September 13 by SO on a court order, released September 17.

Frank Stephenson, 58, of Daymon, arrested September 15 by SO for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, released September 16.

Brandon Watson, 25, of Bandera, arrested September 16 by SO for theft of a firearm, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, burglary of a habitation and unlawful possession, released September 17.

Shawn Byford, 51, of Pipe Creek, arrested September 16 by SO on a motion to revoke parole warrant.

Jairo Monzon, 32, of Bandera, arrested September 16 by DPS for first-offense DWI, released September 17.

Derrick Miller, 29, of Bandera, arrested September 17 by SO for second-offense DWI and a failure to appear warrant.

Shaun Smith, 40, of Pleasanton, arrested September 17 by THP for second-offense DWI, released September 18. Bobby Shackelford, 79,

Bobby Shackelford, 79, of San Antonio, arrested September 17 by SO for public intoxication, released September 19.

Blake Vaughan, 37, of San Antonio, arrested September 17 by THP for first-offense DWI, released September 18.

Kevin Love, 52, of San Antonio, arrested September 18 by So for first-offense DWI.

As of Monday, September 20, there were 62 inmates in the Bandera County Jail, five of which were from a different county.
