The AARP will offer its Safe Driver Classes at the Silver Sage center in Bandera several times this year, beginning on Jan. 23. The classes will be taught by Alan F. Cone, an AARP Safe Driver instructor who has taught classes in Kerrville and Fredericksburg and this month for the first time in Bandera. He said his goal with the classes is to provide participants with several ideas on how they can become better drivers in a fun environment.
